About Me.

Ridhi, an Indian-American 15-year-old researcher, activist, writer, and speaker, has been actively involved in STEM since elementary school, participating in competitions such as Science Fair, Speech & Debate, Pitch Competitions and Science Bowls.

During her freshman year at the Academies of Loudoun, Ridhi taught herself everything about AI, CS, engineering, and biomedical sciences, gaining proficiency in Python, C++, R, and HTML/CSS in less than 6 months. An international internship at a top-tier ML lab led her to develop a Lung Disease Diagnosis AI Model named RespiraAI, which was subsequently published at an IEEE conference.

As a sophomore, Ridhi demonstrated her innovation in the field of recombinant vaccine design. She created GENOMI, a deep learning based tool that utilizes the world's most efficient mutual information algorithm to map full organismal genomes for efficient recombinant synthesis in industrial environments. She discovered and patented the first complete gene regulatory network for E. coli, accelerating the fields of genetic engineering and mRNA vaccines synthesis. Her exceptional work earned first place in her category at the Virginia Junior Science and Humanities Symposium in 2025.

In the latter half of her sophomore year, she continued to push boundaries by creating an AI based pipeline for completely autonomous mRNA vaccine design after witnessing the atrocities of ravaging epidemics and the failure of the healthcare system to design recombinant technology fast enough. Her pipeline was deemed 9 times faster than industry leader Moderna. She designed the world's first mRNA vaccines for Marburg Virus (the world's deadliest virus), MERS (a COVID relative), and glioblastoma (the single deadliest brain cancer) in just 2 weeks. Her exceptional research earned her recognition from Harvard Medical School and the University of Virginia as well as a spot as an international finalist at the most prestigious entrepreneurship competition for youth.

Education

2023-2027

Academies of Loudoun

The Academies of Loudoun is Loudoun County's most prestigious STEM program with an acceptance rate of <7%. Ridhi rigorously studies science with access to some of the world's best high school research mentors. Advanced coursework has included physics, chemistry, environmental science, calculus, etc.

2023-2027

Independence High School

Ridhi studies non-STEM subjects at Independence High School. Ridhi takes the most rigorous classes she can including AP World History and AP Statistics as one of the top performers in her class.

2020-2023

Brambleton Middle School

Ridhi's pre-high school years were spent at Brambleton Middle School, where Ridhi gained extensive experience in STEM. She pulled a hat trick at the regional science olympiad in 8th grade, winning first in all events she competed in.
